  1. I’m a native Spanish speaker … but I would have to work in English, and I do know I have an accent. Will my accent be a handicap or an asset?

    • You won’t know if you like an activity as well as the life that comes with it- or whether you are well suited for it- until you give it a good try. Enthusiasm or curiosity is a great reason to start such exploration, but you cannot know whether it is for you before you go for it. On a side note, two seemingly disparate interests may end up complementing each other. It may not be an either/or choice. It may, at least for a while, be both.
