  1. How much should I pay for voice acting training classes?

    • For a working pro teacher, I’d expect to pay $100 per hour for a private lesson. Maybe less, maybe more, depending on their level of insight. I’m not sure the current going rate. A group class I’d expect to run around $100 per three hour class per week.

  2. what should a website include if I just graduated from college? Does it include things I have done while at college? since there was virtually no acting work due to the pandemic.

    • You can list anything of your performance experience on your site. But I mostly want you focused on creating content that you love, learning, reading, viewing, and getting performance experience any way you can.

  3. I live in a part of the word where acting and voice acting seems like a world away a […] but I’m unsure of where to go from here.

  4. […] is there anyway [for me] to […] audition for [a specific animated series?]

    • I discuss at length on my site the pathway to readying oneself to audition for professional (paid) voice work. It’s helpful to aspire to specific projects, but realize the path to competitive readiness is a long one for all performers. Persistence, talent and luck will need to accompany focused aspiration. Also, check my FAQ#8. Best of luck.

  5. …is there any possible way to do an internship for voice acting?

    • I don’t know of opportunities to “shadow” voice actors. There are often NDA’s in play as well. What I would pursue is shadowing a voice director or casting director, where you can see lots of examples of how it plays out and how it’s done well (or not). Such “internships” would be easier to facilitate under the auspices of a college or community college, if the studio is open to it or has such a program up and running.
